I don't believe that top actors don't have similarly busy schedules. Meetings with producers, reading scripts, practicing lines, jetsetting around the world for shoots, trying to maintain a family and social life, making public appearances, physical training, managing diets, makeup and costumes, having charitable foundations, etc. If anything they're busier than the average software dev.
